Songwriter 14K Bwongo has come out to express his dissatisfaction after being kicked on the side by Fresh Kid’s father and people around him.
It is not a secret that 14K Bwongo and manager Francis discovered Fresh Kid and nurtured his talent. He singlehandedly penned the songs that led to his breakthrough.
Following his stardom, Fresh Kid’s father, Fresh Daddy, quickly abandoned his job and joined his son so he could enjoy his success. This left 14K Bwongo feeling unappreciated and unrecognized for the great work he did to see that Fresh Kid’s career came to light.
The huge debate was engineered by blogger Champion Genius Levy following Fresh Kid’s trip to Zari’s home in South Africa courtesy of minister Nakiwala Kiyinji. The blogger felt it was unfair to leave 14K Bwongo behind in favour of Fresh Daddy, who they say did nothing to help his son.
Sharing the video on his handle, 14K Bwongo penned a heartfelt message, narrating how he walked away because he felt unappreciated.
“I started feeling less when I understood I deserved more, and the most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much and forgetting that you are special too. If they appreciate your presence, you should try to giving them your absence,” he wrote.

14K’s fans and followers flooded the comment section, expressing their sympathy for the way he was treated. Being the mastermind and engine behind Fresh Kid’s success in the music industry, they concluded that he deserved to be on the front line during his celebrations.
