A few weeks ago, Crysto Panda and Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi collaborated on a song dubbed “Mukisenge.” which the former considered one of his most expensive music endeavours.
The song was well-received by music enthusiasts and gained significant recognition and plays on various music streaming platforms.
However, Crysto Panda was disappointed to discover that Winnie Nwagi had released a new song dubbed “Okubye Nyo” shortly after their collaboration.
He believed that this was inappropriate as the song would directly compete with their recently released collaboration, hence reaching out to Winnie Nwagi’s manager, Gonza, to inquire about the reason behind the song’s release.
Gonza explained that Vevo, a renowned music video network, was responsible for the timing of the song’s release.
In light of this development, Crysto Panda emphasized the importance for established musicians to promote the music projects they have collaborated on with young artists.
He suggested that they should create a space and avoid releasing their songs in direct competition with the projects they have recently collaborated on with emerging talents.
