Popular TikTok sensation Brennan Baby has come out to address the viral rumors that have been going around on social media about his sexuality. The teenage content creator best known for portraying female characters, through his outfits, and speeches has denied the allegations that he is gay.
Despite having all his skits acted in a feminine way, Brennan insists that this is just an artistic expression and not his true identity. In a video shared on his handle, he emphasized that he is a straight young man who is currently in a relationship with a beautiful woman that he did not reveal.
“I’m not gay, I’m a very straight young man in a happy relationship with a woman who is very beautiful. The female character that I play doesn’t depict what I am in real life. Those who know me know this. Besides, acting is a form of art and my videos are meant to bring happiness, laughter among people so that they may forget their worries,” Brennan Babysaid.
Brennan Baby, who was evidently frustrated and hurt by the comments described the experience as bullying and harassment which he says has affected his mental wellbeing. He revealed that he at one point considered changing his type of content because of the trolls, but changed his mind because he did not want the negativity to define his choices.
What you guys are saying is something really bad. The bullying and harassment have really taken a toll on me. Some of you may see these comments as harmless but when it is a constant wave of negativity, you feel its weight.
This has made me think deeper on the kind of content I want to be making. Maybe I should resort to mature content that reflects me. I do not know if I’m making this decision out of the harassment that I’ve faced throughout the years but I want to change,” he said.
Brennan Baby, however, extended his appreciation to his followers who have constantly supported him without judgment, saying that their kindness was the driving force behind his career.
I want to thank the people who have supported me continuously, your encouragement and love is what keeps me moving forward. One thing that won’t change about me is the love for content creation for all those who support me. I won’t change because of some people who have that internalized thinking, Brennan Babyconcluded.
