News Anchor, Pastor, and Show host Samson Kasumba is set to quit NBS Television after almost seven years of working with the station.
Samson was a former employee at Urban TV Uganda, before initiating duties at the Naguru-based station in 2016 where he has been anchoring the Live at 9 news.

On April 1, 2022, Samson through a tweet stressed that after a deep conversation with his family in Uganda and in the diaspora, they came to a conclusion that he should further his studies in theology.
He further details that his intentions to pursue a Ph.D. in theology came effective upon securing the necessary funding from a reputable University.
Samson reveals that it is a painful decision to put his career to a standstill to acquire further education.

However, Samson Kasumba’s intention to end his career with NBS Television has been tagged a ploy to honor fool’s day by a handful of followers, while others have gone ahead to congratulate him for the milestone achieved.
