A few days from voting the Uganda Musicians Association President (UMA), singer Sheebah Karungi has given King Saha a green light to contest for the association’s presidential seat.
Sheebah has snubbed her long-time nemesis Cindy Sanyu, who is eyeing a second term as UMA president.
In a video the singer shared on her socials, she revealed that she didn’t know the prevailing UMA president, hence advocating for a person she well knows. READ ALSO: King Saha Unbothered By Bebe Cool’s Criticism
Sheebah noted that she was convinced by Saha’s manifesto, which comprised of fighting to implement the copyright law in the country.
She further stressed that there is a need to protect the arts industry, and the artists in different sectors something the prevailing UMA administration has failed to execute.
She’s hence behind Saha because she believes he is fighting for a good cause urging fellow musicians to fight for something that benefits them all.
We Need a COPYRIGHT Law in Uganda to Protect the Art industry. To protect ALL Artists in different sectors and thats why am behind my friend King Saha for UMA President. He’s fighting for the right cause.
Lets fight for something that benefits all of us, (artists) for once
