Events promoter Abey Musinguzi alias Abitex Promotions has slapped Fangone Forest singer Alien Skin with the intention to sue papers.
A few weeks back, Alien Skin deprived Abitex Promotions of the authority to orchestrate his impending “Knwacho” festival which was initially scheduled to take place on the 27th of August at Forest Park in Buloba.
Alien Skin based his decision on the fact that Abitex Promotions failed to pay him the event money on time amounting to Ugx 100M.
Alien Skin’s decision fathered a nasty social media debate, with each castigating the other. In the turn of events, Abitex Promotions through his lawyers the Lunar Advocates served the singer with the intention to sue papers.
According to documents Abitex shared via his socials, Alien agreed to be paid Ugx 100M for the Nkwacho festival and a deposit of Ugx 10M was given to him.
As he geared up to orchestrate the event, Abitex Promotions made other payments to several service providers as seen below;
Paid Venue UgShs 20,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Twenty Million)
Paid Galaxy FM UgShs 2,500,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Milion Five
Hundred Thousand)
Paid Banners UgShs 6,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million)
Paid Audio and Video Adverts UgShs 2,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Two

Paid Public Address System UgShs 15,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Fifteen

Paid Other Media UgShs 16,000,0000 (Uganda Shillings Sixteen Million)
It is for the aforementioned expenses that Abitex wants to be compensated UgShs 71,500,000 (Uganda Shillings Seventy-One Million Five Hundred Thousand) within Seven (7) days from the date of receipt of this notice. Additionally, Alien Skin is to pay Ugx 6,000,000 as legal fees to Lunar Advocates.
