Akumu Sophia Accuses Raymond Bindeeba Of Child Neglect

A lady known as Akumu Sophia is accusing Precious Remmie’s husband Raymond Bindeeba of being an absentee father.

While appearing in an interview with a local YouTuber, Akumu revealed that during her S.3 in 2007, she bumped into Raymond at the party.

By then he was using the initials of Mubangizi Benedict, before changing to Bindeeba Raymond for motives best known by him.

In 2008, Akumu Sophia conceived and gave birth to her first child, Akankwasa Shifrah who is currently 13 and in S.2. By this time, Raymond had fled the country to Sudan, where the pastures seemed greener.

However, when Raymond was informed that he was a father, he forbade saying the child should be taken for a DNA test.

He directed his brother Robert to provide the samples since he was miles away. When the results came out positive, Raymond continued to play hide and seek and the only money he has ever provided for child support was $100 while in Iraq.

Akumu further narrates that she had no alternative but to look after her bundle of joy until recently that couldn’t afford her daughter’s school fees anymore because she is a mere hairdresser, whose earnings can’t sustain the load of responsibilities.

Raymond’s explanation for not providing for her daughter is that he was not satisfied with the DNA results. He then directed Akumu to conduct another taste using the blood samples he left at Nakasero, which Akumu doesn’t agree with.

In a bid to seek justice for her daughter, she reported the case to Police, who called Raymond to solve the matter. However, this did not bear any fruits, as Raymond abused the Police officers leaving the matter unsolved.

She further sought help from Faridah Nakazibwe, who linked her with Precious Remmie. Through a phone call, Remmie advised her to take the kid to a school she could afford if Raymond was not ready to help her.

Akumu Sophia has urged Faridah Nakazibwe, mama Phina, Sarah Mateke to intervene in the matter to see that her daughter gets the justice she deserves.
