Musician Alien Skin has officially marked an important chapter in life after his conversion to Islam.
Alien who was formerly a Christian made the announcement after a private ceremony that happened at his Fangone Forest home.
The self-styled Kimenke revealed his plans to convert to Islam last month during the press conferences he held following his release from Luzira Upper Prison.
At that time, he said he would profess his faith (Shahada) at Old Kampala Mosque but later changed his plans and had Sheikh Zabadu Ssali Katumba come to his home to lead the conversion ceremony.
Alien Skin’s conversion comes after a stormy period in his life. He was battling charges of assault against Nsambya Hospital staff members as well as theft allegations.

The rough experience seems to have had a huge impact on him, prompting him to rethink his life spiritually.
