On 13th January 2022, singer Vivian Tendo took to her social media platforms, sharing a private Whatsapp chat with her former boss Yese Oman Rafiki threatening to end her life if she doesn’t make up her mind and return to the record label.
It should be recalled that Vivian Tendo ended her music business with Route entertainment headed by Yese Oman Rafiki earlier last year to concentrate on a solo career. The singer’s decision didn’t sound good to the label’s boss who claimed he had injected a lot of money and time to see Vivian where she is now.
He embarked on sweet-talking the singer to make her way back. When she refused, he resorted to insulting and threatening to end her life.
The video Vivian shared caused mixed reactions among netizens forcing Yese Oman Rafiki to retract his statement of injuring his former worker. The talented writer and singer Oman Rafiki said he is moving on and has no problem with anyone now.
”I hate words, I hate betrayal and I will not betray anyone. Don’t be fooled. These artists are sometimes thieves be a careful manager. I won’t lose my hard-earned hustle because I helped someone.” he shared on his Instagram account
Regarding claims of Oman Rafiki disrespecting Vivian’s mother, he had this to say
