Sheraton Gardens laughed on Friday night as Comedy Grill celebrated Anne Kansiime’s over-decade-long career with roasts and performances. Talent Africa Group, known for innovative events, organized the event.
Comedian Daniel Omara opened with sharp jokes, setting a playful tone before energetic MCs Tuwangye Richard and Deedan Muyiira introduced performers.
The roasters included Patrick Salvador, Madrat & Chico, Nana Kagga, GNL Zamba, Gaetano, Dr. Matembe, Prim Asiimwe, and Skylanta, all delivering comedy brilliance.
Anne Kansiime dazzled in a pink gown, gracefully accepting playful jabs as GNL Zamba launched the evening’s first hilarious roast.
As more comedians performed, laughter and witty comebacks filled the venue, leaving the crowd joyfully entertained throughout the electric evening.
Talent Africa’s Aly Allibhai, also roasted, praised the event’s success, calling it a landmark in Uganda’s evolving comedy landscape.
