Aroma exposes artist who pushed her into witchcraft for collaboration hype

Songstress Aroma has shared some of the challenges she has faced in the industry, which have turned out to be her worst moments in her growing career.

In a sit-down interview with Mr. Henrie, Aroma recalled collaborating with a male artist whom she did not name. After the audio and video of the song were ready, the artist allegedly asked her to give her money for witchcraft to bless the song before it was officially released to the public.

Upon hesitation, the artist threatened to abandon the song, forcing Aroma to send him Ugx 500,000 to do the rituals he had wanted to do.

He didn’t stop there, but still asked for money for promotion, even after she had financed the project. Two days later, after she had sent him the money as requested, he called, saying it was not enough and he needed an extra 15 million to handle the promotion.

This frustrated Aroma because it was outside her budget, and when she declined sending him the money, the artist allegedly abandoned the song and refused to do any promotions for it.

“I didn’t go to the shrine, but felt bad because he had refused to release the song. Looked for money for the witchcraft and sent it to him. Still ended up being frustrated because of the same song. Someone made me pay 500K for things I was not prepared for. Even after I did all this, they asked me for more money,” she said.

The other challenge that Aroma faced was when one of her mentors in the industry beat her up, leaving her with injuries and bruises to the point that she had to hide away from the public.

The reason behind the terrible beating was that Aroma was at that time seeing a confident man and tried to conceal the details of her personal life from the culprit.

“He was not sober, and he started crying and regretting what he had done. The following day, they had to take him to a mental institute for a while,” Aroma explained.
