I’m a Jealous and clingy lover – Aroma reveals why she’s single

Musician Aroma, real name Kyavaerimukama, has opened up about the reason behind her being single for a long time.

Aroma, while appearing in a recent interview, confessed that it was her jealousy that had hindered her from being in a stable relationship.

The ‘Mpeke’ singer revealed that she had noticed a pattern in her previous relationships where possessiveness had gotten the best of her, thus pushing away the people she loved.

While in a relationship, Aroma says she prefers constant communication, spending quality time with her lover, plus being up to date with whatever they are doing and where they are at every time she is not around. This has come off as overwhelming for her partners, thus driving them away.

I do not have a man currently. Have tried being in a relationship and have received several heartbreaks. I won’t lie, I get on people’s nerves a lot.

If I’m in love with someone, I want to talk to them 24/7, be with them for at least 8-10 hours, and you have to tell me where you are and what you are doing at that point.

I’m clingy, and it makes people uncomfortable. They always end up leaving me because I’m always on their case. That is me,” Aroma revealed, confessing that she had no control over her actions.

He has to allow me to do all this because this means I love them. I do not act this way on a person I do not love. I have people who hit on me, but as long as I do not love them, I do not care what they are about, she revealed.

Aroma further watered down rumours of being in a secret relationship with Anknown, stemming from her collaboration with the singer.
