Musician Ameria Nambala has expressed her disappointment in fellow musicians for the low turnout at Jamie Culture’s recently concluded press conference.
At the beginning of the week, Jamie Culture invited journalists and fellow artists ahead of his ‘Friends Of Jamie Culture’ concert slated for this weekend.
Jamie Culture is a celebrated songwriter in the industry, having written hit songs for numerous artists. Despite his position in the industry, very few artists attended the press conference, something that Ameria deemed unfair.
In an interview with journalists after the press conference, Ameria shared her opinion, stating that Jamie Culture was worth celebrating and supporting for the considerable contributions he has made to the music industry.
“Fans may support him, but it would be massive if artists had turned up. People may not know how much he has done for the industry, but it would be unfair for an artist not to remember who has contributed to their journey to success.

For some years, Jamie Culture had been struggling with mental health-related issues, with many linking his challenges to drug abuse. Despite being checked into rehabilitation, the struggle persisted.

Ameria believes that their presence as artists at his show would help heal his heart and also remind him of how great and super talented he is for bringing them all together.
“If he needs us and we don’t show up yet we know the situation he is in right now, it is very unfair. Even if you are busy, just spare a few minutes and come. Some things don’t even need money but our presence. We should have a conscience and help him. He is our fellow artist and he has some problems. Even when you look at him, you will know he is not okay.
I believe our presence would heal him and remind him of who he is and how great of an artist he is,” Ameria said.
