The Retired Assistant Inspector General of Uganda Police, Asan Kasingye has been called to order and forced to apologize to Content Creator, Matha Kay for slut shaming her over her leaked nudes.
It all started when Martha Kay posted a tweet about losing confidence points when you send a message and later decide to delete it. This raised a debate among her followers and just as they had started engaging her, the Rtd. AIGP Asan Kasingye sent in his submission, which came off as offensive.
“Even when you post your nudes accidentally? Be serious.” Asan Kasingye said in a now-deleted post.
He was quickly called to order with many crucifying him for using someone else’s sad situation to gain engagement on social media. He was forced to delete it and offer an apology. In his defense, his reply was innocent and not connected to what Martha Kay went through.
“My post in response to Martha Kay was an innocent banter. It was not intended to insinuate anything. Having realized the impact, I deleted it… I apologize for the inconvenience it has caused,” Kasingye said, promising to not make any other post on the platform for a month as a sign of respect.
In 2019, the world came crumbling down on the bubbly media personality after her private photos were leaked by a blackmailer. It was a hard moment for her as she became a target of ridicule especially on social media.
Although Martha Kay has tried to put the unfortunate situation behind her, staying positive and not allowing people to use her past to bring her down.
