Ava Peace has addressed critics comparing her to Sheebah Karungi, saying it is a privilege to be placed among the top artists in the few years she has been active.
Born Namugonza Maureen, Ava Peace is one of the most trending female artists leading the industry, generating claims that she is currently shining because Sheebah is on a musical break.
Ava Peace says she has no problem with being compared to the self-styled Karma Queen because she grew up admiring her music.
Instead of sulking, she takes it in a positive direction saying she is lucky to be compared to a great artist like Sheebah.
“I have always told people how good Sheebah is. I have always loved her since those days. She is super talented and as a person, she is very good and everything about her is good.
People love comparing artists but that already shows that you are good at what you do. Just that people bring up that propaganda to mean something else but then, you are already standing as an artist,” Ava Peace said.

Ava Peace has always been vocal when it comes to her inspirations in the music industry. Besides Sheebah, the youngster has openly expressed her admiration for Winnie Nwagi and it was a dream come true when they teamed up on ‘Batuleke’ with her alongside Vinka.
