Earlier this month, Uganda’s oldest drama group Bakayimbira Dramactors notched 40 years of entertaining Ugandans.
The group organized a party to make their day count and invited various big figures in the entertainment industry.

Among those who graced the function, was actress, commercial model, producer, and director Aisha Kyomuhangi who shared her journey with a local YouTuber.
According to Aisha, she joined Bakayimbira 19 years back as a young senior S.2 student at Kampala high school.
Fast forward, after her senior six, she did a short computer course as she waited for her results to join the University to pursue law.
However, her dream was made unattainable as she conceived her first child during her vacation and her boss Charles James Ssenkubuge was responsible.
She halted her plans of joining University to welcome her baby. Aisha further reveals that after giving birth, she went back to school and studied Music Dance and Drama (MDD) to supplement her flourishing acting career.
Aisha and Charles James James Ssenkubuge have two kids together however she emphasized that they are co-parenting since Senkubuge is a married man.
