Balaam Barugahara, King Saha

Balaam Barugahara brags about contributing to the construction of King Saha’s mansion

Renowned events promoter cum Minister Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has come out to claim that he contributed an unknown amount of money that helped singer King Saha construct his multi-million house that sits on a huge chunk of land in Nakawuka.

Balaam’s claims come after King Saha came out during a TikTok live broadcast session and urged, revealing how the promoter failed to pay him after performing at several concerts in the past.

Saha noted that he had tried all possible means to get the newly appointed Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs to clear the debts but he severally dodged him.

Upon the promoter crossing paths with the singer’s claims, Balaam addressed the press, denying King Saha’s allegations of not being paid. He also emphasized his commitment to paying his debts and treating artists with utmost respect. Balaam noted that he always prioritizes fair compensation for all those who work with him.

Yesterday I was on TikTok and saw my young brother King Saha claiming that I did not pay him for the concert he sang a long time ago. But for King Saha, I just have to pray for him because he is dealing with so many things that are not going right in his life and I pledge to help him to overcome,
But I do not have any problems with him in that even when he was building his house, I contributed to the material that built his mansion. He is just disturbed that is why he is talking like that.
He doesn’t demand me any money because I always pay people who work for me, I may give you little but I always pay up my debts,” he revealed.

Balaam also addressed the recent incident involving Weasel beating up promoter Nobat after his recently concluded ‘Memories Of Goodlyfe’ concert over a payment dispute. He condemned the violent behavior, encouraging fellow promoters to always pay artists upfront for their performances.

I strongly condemn the violence done on promoters. Nobert is one of the few promoters who does not fear losses, he will invest all his money in promoting you without even knowing if the show will sell out. If you come out and beat him, who will help you the next time…
I urge my fellow promoters to stop taking on concerts without first paying these artists, he said.
