Renowned veteran artist Bebe Cool, born Moses Ssali, has boldly claimed control over Uganda music airplay.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream, Bebe affirmed that his over 35 years of experience have given him influence and connections within the entertainment industry.
The singer says he has made some influential connections throughout his career, and he is not only friends with DJs, MCs, radio hosts, and TV hosts, but also has a strong bond with the CEOs of media outlets nationwide.
He added that before approaching DJs and media hosts, he first contacts the station bosses to discuss his upcoming plans.
The “wire wire” hitmaker confidently said that with all this influence, he can decide which artists gets music airplay in uganda and who gets blacklisted.

Bebe Cool was addressing young artists who competed with him and urged them to learn from him, rather than seeing him as a threat.
