Bebe Cool is not ready to be led by leaders he believes are half-baked and incompetent. He has since nominated Maurice Kirya to contest for the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) President, for he believes the Mwoyo singer is deserving.
In Bebe Cool’s recent interview, he stressed how he doesn’t find the prevailing contenders for the UMA presidential seat capable of taking the association to the next step.
He revealed that the outgoing association president Cindy Sanyu has done more harm than good during her term of service, as her leadership is characterized by divisions among artists, hence granting her another term would be the last alternative.
For King Saha, Bebe noted that the singer’s public image is not befitting for a leader, since he has always publicized his use of weed.
For that case, Bebe Cool has opted for Maurice Kirya as the only solution to UMA’s problems, owing to the fact that he has almost all the key elements of a leader.
Bebe Cool is confident that most of the musicians will agree to his suggestion for Maurice Kirya to contest for the association presidential seat.
I always mind several things when choosing a leader and a few of them are my brother Maurice Kirya has for UMA president.
He is educated, disciplined, good conduct, experienced, approachable, open-minded, welcoming, always listens, taba muntalotalo, exposure, age, and the ability to unite both those who like and don’t like you.
Dear brother, I with due respect request you to accept my proposal for you to be the new UMA president because am sure so many artists in Uganda will agree with me on this.Bebe Cool
