Bebe Cool has opened up about a chapter in his love life back in the day before he met his wife Zuena. In an interview, Bebe Cool shared the story of his first serious relationship that ended in heartbreak when he caught his girlfriend with one of his friends/workmates.
Bebe Cool says he met this Kenyan girl called ‘Lena’ during his time in Kenya. She was the only girl he ever dated while living in Kenya and she was a really nice person.
He doesn’t know or understand how and why she cheated on him with his friend. However, Bebe Cool says that he was childish and that maybe he made a mistake by giving her too much freedom.
“I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I gave her too much space and freedom.”
Bebe says he didn’t know about it all and that he only got to know about his girlfriend’s betrayal when he received a call from someone who told him he needed to show him something. On arrival, he found Lena together with his workmate.
Bebe Cool noted that the incident broke him and at that moment, he couldn’t think about anything else besides leaving. He didn’t just walk away from the relationship, he also packed up all his belongings and left without a second thought.

Bebe Cool went on to cancel the show he had been hired for at the time, returning to his homeland Uganda. He did say that despite the heartbreak, he is glad he met an even nicer person and that is his wife Zuena Kirema.
