Bebe Cool has revealed that he is unbothered by netizens who do not consider him a legend in the Ugandan music industry.
Many artists and music lovers consider Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Jose Chameleone to be pillars of the industry, earning them all respect. In this, however, Jose Chameleone’s name sounds the most when anyone mentions the legends in the industry.
Bebe Cool, during his media tour, expressed his nonchalant attitude towards people who do not rate him among the top stars. He explained that adding him to the list of legends was not beneficial to him or his career, and therefore, he would not get offended if they eliminated him.
“It doesn’t bother me. When you say I’m a legend, does it bring money in my pocket? What bothers me is what stops money from entering my pockets. As long as it doesn’t cut blood out of me, it doesn’t bother me,” he said.
When asked if he qualified to be a legend, Bebe Cool noted that the title was meant for retired stars. He revealed that the title doesn’t define him since he is still actively releasing music.

“Different people have different descriptions of who a legend is. I do not think it is one thing I have even thought about. I take being a legend as someone who has retired. I’m still an active young man. Legends are more to the side of retirement,” he said.
