Big Eye Starboss has expressed his disappointment with the ‘Tugende Mu Kikadde’ annual concert organizers for staging their event on the same date as his concert.
In January this year, Big Eye Starboss announced his intensions stage a concert on the 7th December at Cricket Oval after close to five years without having one.
He relentlessly advertised on different media houses and also did rehearsals in preparation for his big day. To his surprise, however, the ‘Tugende Mukikadde’ was confirmed on the same day, something that broke Big Eye Starbos’ spirit.
Despite both concerts being at different venues, Big Eye Starboss is still not happy about the whole idea because he believes the ‘Tugende Mukikadde’ is happening on the same route as his concert venue, something that can easily divert his fans. He believes it is unfair for anyone else to take up his special day even after he advertised earlier.
I was the very first person to announce my launch way back in January that I would be performing on this day at Cricket Oval, Lugogo. No one had even selected that day. I was so disappointed and questioned what these people wanted from me.
I have tried everything in my capacity to announce and promote my concert and my people know. So, I did not expect this from anyone else, Big Eye Starboss revealed.
Big Eye is still stuck on what he should do next as he has failed to access the exact person at his rival show committee to address his grievances to
I have no one to call because the poster has very many artists performing that day. And they made it worse by staging their concert along the same route that my people use to access Lugogo. I wonder what their motive is.
My show appeals to all audiences, so, whatever they do, affects me.” Big Eye lamented.
