Nansana-based hangout Big Zone was on Wednesday this week evicted from its rented premises over accrued rental arrears.
Big Zone over the years established itself as one of the most desired hangout spots in Nansana.
Owned by Medadi Rukunndo, Big-Zone has been hosting concerts, and a chillout spot for fun seekers, among other entertainment-related activities.
However, for the past two years, Medadi Rukunndo failed to pay rent amounting to Ugx 80, prompting his landlord to drag him to the courts of law.
Court hence issued an order that Big-Zone property be seized and failure to clear the rental dues, the property should be valued and sold to settle the outstanding rental arrears.

At the time of the Big Zone eviction, numerous events were scheduled to be hosted at the venue, and this unexpected incident left several creatives choking on losses.
