Singer Biswanka Derick has today shunned Next Media’s Sanyuka TV Bigenda Bitya show interview due to alleged disrespect.
According to Biswanka, he was recently invited to feature on the Anna Talia Oze-hosted Luganda show so that he could share his day-to-day life with his fans.
Earlier today, Biswanka respected the invitation and showed up, cruising in his car with some members of his music team.
To his disappointment, Next Media’s security team urged him to get out of the car, leave his team behind, and present his national ID before he could access the Naguru-based media outlet.
Biswanka says he respected exiting the car; however, he found it challenging to leave his team and present an ID, claiming he had been invited.
He stressed that while he respects the station, he decided to return home, prioritizing his dignity and self-respect, before apologizing to his fans who expected him to feature on the show.
