Singer and politician Bobi Wine has given an update following being shot at in the leg while pursuing his pollical objectives in Bulindo Bulindo in Kira Municipality.
This evening, social media was awash by videos and photos depicting Bobi Wine nursing injuries after being shot at in the leg moments after meeting his political party lawyer Musisi George.
Following the injuries, Bobi Wine attended to by security team , who rushed him to Nsambya Hospital for medical attention.
Based on an update issued via Bobi Wine’s social media accounts, the police and military reportedly surrounded their vehicles and started firing live bullets, teargas canisters and other projectiles.
In the process, the singer’s leg was injured which saw him unable to move requiring the assistance of his team.

This evening as our President returned from Bulindo in Kira Municipality where he had gone to check on one of our lawyers, Musisi George, the police and military under the command of one Twesigye surrounded our vehicles and started firing live bullets, teargas canisters and other projectiles. In the process, our President #BobiWine who was clearly targeted was shot in the leg. He is currently being attended to by a team of medical doctors. This is yet another attempt on the life of our President by the Museveni regime!
