Bruno K emerges victorious in legal war against Black Market Records, secures Ugx 130m

Singer Bruno is in celebratory mode after winning a case against his former record label, Black Marcket Records.

A few years back, Bruno K exited Black Market Records before suing the label for raising copyright claims on his Youtube channel and collecting royalties from his old music.

In 2023, Bruno regained access to his YouTube channel with the assistance of his attorneys and specialists in music distribution, and the legal battle proceeded.

Earlier today, a final judgment was issued, and Black Market Record was ordered not to interfere with or infringe copyright in Bruno K’s musical works going forward.

Additionally, Bruno is to be paid Ugx 130 million for copyright infringement and illegally collecting royalties from his crafts.
