Golden Band singers Catherine Kusasira, and Ronald Mayinja, are counting losses upon Uganda Police sabotaging their show on Easter Monday.
Catherine Kusasira and Ronald Mayinja’s show at Palms Park Ndejje-Kanaaba was cut short by Uganda Police on grounds that the singers had no security clearance.
According to Mayinja however, they went through the proper channels to stage their show at Palms Park, and they had all the required documents.

To the duos’ surprise, security officials stormed their concert venue, demanding Ugx800,000 for security.
Kusasria who requested to offer them Ugx300,000 her bid was turned down, and the officials ordered revelers to flee the premises.
Being a presidential advisor, Kusasria sought intervention from top-notch officials by making a few phone calls.
Her efforts yielded no fruits, as her phone calls couldn’t be answered. The Si Dogo star’s last option was to obey orders and stop the show.
Teary Kusasira vented her disappointment with Uganda Police through a Facebook live broadcast on Monday evening, where she demanded an apology from the institution, compensation for canceling her show, and to foot all the costs for the property vandalized by revelers.
