Catherine Kusasira addresses rumors about her supposed distress over a Ugx 200 million refund fee related to the sale of a car lacking proper documentation.
Singer Catherine Kusasira has addressed rumors suggesting that she sold her car valued at Ugx 200m to a car dealer.
Catherine who is now out of the country revealed that she sold the car during the COVID-19 pandemic due to challenges beyond her control.
However, shortly after getting the money, the car dealer experienced challenges changing the car documents to another owner due to URA issues and he requested the singer to refund his money.
Kusasira sought assistance from the president, who delegated the responsibility to a one Betty Agaba who had to ensure that the matter was resolved.
Unfortunately, the issue was not settled and the singer might face possible legal action as the car dealer Dan has lost patience.

The singer who had earlier promised to return the 200M Ugx with the help of the president admitted to not having the funds but is hopeful that the matter would get sorted.
”I don’t know what’s next,I don’t know if I’m going to get arrested because I don’t have the money right now but what I know is,the president’s word is an order. He gave the order to Betty Agaba who just hasn’t yet handled the matter.”
Catherine Kusasira emphasized that she didn’t flee the country but rather went because of her health issues and asked Betty Agaba to help handle the situation.
”I didn’t run away from the country as people claim,I only came for review.I request madam Betty Agaba to handle this situation because the president’s word is an order.”
