The news of the untimely death of Kawempe Member of Parliament Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya has struck the Uganda social media and political communities.
Ssegirinya lost the battle on the 09th of January 2025 due to an illness that saw him frequent the hospital for a considerable period of time.
He was rushed to Lubaga Hospital in Kampala towards the end of last year in December, where he was confined until breathing his last Thursday.
His death has since raised dust on social media, with several public figures conveying their condolences via their respective platforms.
Ssegirinya was widely known for his hilarious comments, and for using his office to elevate the less privileged people in the community.
