Veteran musician and talent manager Chagga Geoffrey has appreciated King Saha for the love and support he has consistently shown him during his most difficult times.
Recently, a clip went viral on social media showing Senga Acid claiming that Chagga had turned into a serial beggar. Ever since he fell out with Weasel, who threw his belongings on the streets, Chagga has struggled to get back on his feet.
Chagga emphasized that he doesn’t go around begging artists, but instead, those who respect his contribution look for him at his home and give him gifts.
He gave an example of King Saha, who usually drives to his house to give him a gift, even when he says he has never contributed to his career.
“I’m a legend in the industry who has made a number of artists. All of them find me at my home with gifts. They look for me. King Saha usually comes and sometimes stops at the gate just to drop off a token for me. I have never helped him with anything; I just saw an opportunity for a young man who is really talented,” he said.
Chagga believes Saha appreciates him for the kind gesture he showed him during the 2000s at the Radio & Weasel show at Lido Beach.

He revealed that at that time, King Saha had just released ‘Signal’ and was trying to navigate the music industry. People, however, thought he was plagiarizing Radio and tried to sabotage his career.
That particular evening, King Saha, who was then staying in Entebbe, heard about the show and came through to show support. When he wanted to perform, he was denied the chance until Chagga stepped in and used his authority, thereby securing him a spot.

“King Saha was once ambushed by people claiming that he was copying Radio. I don’t even think he knew he sounded like Radio. Maybe he watched him and got inspired automatically.
They stopped him from performing at that show, and I used my power as an elder to get him a pass to perform. I got so angry and insisted he had to perform or I would cancel the show. I had gone through this, and I knew exactly how it felt. This rejection would have broken his heart and maybe diverted him from singing. Surprisingly, he sang, and the Radio was so happy for him. He loved him so much there and then,” he answered.
