Ugandan renowned TikToker and influencer Chicken Chicken has apologized for his recent comments about Rwanda.
Chicken, real name Anthony Katongole, recently visited Rwanda for a short stay. He had some comments to make about President Kagame and the country as a whole.
Appearing on a YouTube podcast, the TikToker claimed that the country had narrow and poor roads, as well as old cars. He also said that citizens were poor and slept hungry, among other claims.
This caused an uproar amongst the citizens of Rwanda and everyone on social media who is affiliated with the country.
Many people created videos on social media, especially on TikTok. They were calling out Chicken for allegedly disgracing and spreading lies about their country.

Under pressure, Chicken publicly offered his heartfelt apology to Rwanda’s president Kagame and the citizens in general for the inappropriate comments. He went down on his knees and acknowledged that he had made a mistake. Then, he asked for forgiveness from the entire Rwandan fraternity.
