Chris Banina has finally dropped the highly anticipated music video to his latest love song ‘Kanywe Okawulire’ (loosely translated from Luganda to mean ‘Love Portion’). The visuals bring to life the song’s meaning of trying to win over a loved one with a magical love potion.
In the video, Chris Banina is seen attempting to mix the love portion into his woman’s tea. Showcasing his playful and romantic side. The clean and clear visuals, mostly shot indoors, feature Chris getting cozy and smitten, playing lovers’ games around the house with his woman amidst the very cold weather outside.
The video was shot and directed by Edrine Paul of Future Trends Print, with sponsorship from Victoria University. It premiered during the University’s surprise dance party featuring artists like Mudra, Karole Kasita, and Victor Ruz among others.
Last year, Dr. Lawrence Muganga of Victoria University declared that he would be sponsoring Chris Banina’s music career after he was impressed by his growing captivating talent. Chris had been in the industry for some time but lacked a breakthrough despite releasing good music.
Dr. Muganga offered to sign him, not to profit from his music career but rather to have him advance his musical ambitions by investing in his talent.
