Musician Chris Evans has publicly expressed his disappointment and frustration following the rejection of songstress Irene Ntale. In an interview, Evans, real name, Christopher Evans Kaweesi revealed that he has had a crush on Irene since the lockdown in 2020 and has made numerous attempts to hold a conversation with her, but in vain.
Chris Evans who has been in Ntale’s DMs shared that he has sent more than one message but has always been blue-ticked and ignored. To his surprise, the songbird agreed to cooperate with trending sensation Lil Pazo after the release of his trending song ‘Enkudi’.
“I started sending her messages in 2020 and she never replied but it only took Lil Pazo to just release his ‘Enkudi’ song to get her attention and win her over. She first replied to my greeting and when she saw that I was getting to the point, she started blue-ticking me,” Chris Evans said while showing off the messages that were snubbed by the songstress.
In addition to the rejection, Evans is particularly disturbed by Lil Pazo’s explicit content which he believes has no place in the music industry. He further blamed the media for giving his song mileage claiming they are fueling the spread of vulgar music.
“I will quit music if it gets to the level that we all have to sing vulgar songs to make it. And I blame the media for giving such artists like Lil Pazo the vibe. They are always on our televisions doing interviews from time to time. He even bagged Irene Ntale, a woman that I have pursued since COVID times,” he revealed.
Since its release, ‘Enkudi’ has received widespread backlash from both fellow artists and music lovers who have argued that the obscene lyrics were harmful to society. Evans on the other hand called for Lil Pazo’s arrest to serve as a lesson to artists that such material is unacceptable.

“Even if he spends just one night in prison, it will show the rest of the world that vulgar music is not acceptable. This will change the narrative that is perceived by people that you can sing vulgar music and get away with it,” he said.
