Female singers Lilian Mbabazi, Cindy Sanyu, and Jackie Chandiru have recently reunited as the band Blu*3 after fifteen years of pursuing solo careers.
Blu*3, formed in 2004 under the guidance of renowned music producer and talent manager Steve Jean, made a significant impact on the music industry before eventually parting ways for personal reasons.
Following their performance at the Blu*3 reunion event held at Naguru Skyz, the trio addressed the press and expressed their joy in working together again after such a long hiatus.
During the press conference, they revealed that the name Blu*3 was their creation, and even their founder Steve Jean cannot lay claim to it.
Furthermore, they disclosed that the “B” in Blu*3 represents anything extraordinary starting with the letter “B,” such as beautiful, Boutilicious, Black, and many others.

On the other hand, the letters “L,” “U,” and “3” have consistent meanings, representing Ladies, Ugandans, and the collective entity of the trio, respectively.
