Dancehall singer Cindy Sanyu is mourning the sudden death of one of her most dedicated fans, De City Hunter.
The fan who had been a constant presence at Cindy Sanyu’s shows and a passionate advocate for her music, passed on a few days back, leaving the musician and the entire camp in shock.
Cindy took to her social media platforms to share her message of condolence alongside a video of her visiting the deceased’s home for the vigil to offer comfort and support to the bereaved family.
The ‘Boom Party’ hitmaker who was in the company of her friends broke down the moment she got to the compound and during her speech at the vigil, Cindy Sanyu described the deceased as a dedicated fan who was always at the frontline fighting her social media battles.
He did a good job defending her brand because he held her in high regard, something that scared her because she thought she was not perfect.
“He appreciated my music so much, he defended me in places I was not, and fought my battles with people I did not know about. I was scared of meeting him because of the way he saw me. He took me to be so perfect, yet I’m not. He held me so high to a point that I was scared of disappointing him. I can’t believe Hunter passed on, he just called me last week,” Cindy broke down.
