In January 2023, Alien Skin and Clever J teamed up to release one of the biggest songs of that year titled ‘Binyuma Bitya’ produced by Shidy Beatz. The song birthed a number of challenges on social media with a signature dance style that was embraced by many especially TikTok users.
A year later, the two parties are yet to release a music video despite their fans asking for it. In a press interview, Clever J who is now a changed man after giving his life to Christ, opened up on the different reasons as to why he has not come together with Alien to work on the video.
“First put aside the fact that we did a song together but consider why we are not hanging out together. If he starts singing about Jesus just like I do, you will get the video for our collaboration in no time,” he said.
More than ten years ago, Clever J made it to the music scene with his hit single ‘Manzi Wanani’, thereafter releasing other songs like Ensi Yaleeta, and Fanya Kazi among others.
He later fell off due to poor management and a fallout with the Mayanja family with whom they are related.
He announced his comeback with the ‘Eddogo Lyafuluka’ concert in August 2023 at Lugogo KCCA which was a complete sellout.
