Renowned comedian Reign real name Obed Lubega of comedy duo Maulana and Reign has been arrested.
Based on the comedy duo’s social media activity, their Facebook page supported the ongoing #Marchtoparliament campaign and vowed to take part.

Subsequently today morning, comedian Reign was picked up from his home in Mutundwe Rubaga Division in Kampala by security operatives.
He was dragged to Nateete police station, and based on reports the comedian is being accused of inciting violence.

The comedy duo’s social media platforms confirmed Reign’s arrest and shared photos depicting him being taken by men in both uniform and plain clothes.
