Musicians, MC, and radio personality Crysto Panda, real name Herbert Kityamuweesi, has expressed his frustration with a female musician who trash-talked him while he was away.
Crysto Panda chose not to disclose the name of his backstabber during an interview with Galaxy FM, stating that the incident occurred at the apartments he rents in Komamboga, which are located near a bar where musicians often gather for entertainment.
At that time, he had just released his collaboration with Winnie Nwagi dubbed ‘Mukisenge’, and the said musician also had her jam that was equally doing well on the charts.
Amidst the conversations, Crysto Panda overheard the musician trying to diss his song, unaware that he was just upstairs and the loud voices would get to him.
“The way she was talking when they played my song told me a lot. I was in my house and recognized her voice. She was claiming that we released our song thinking we would outcompete her song but she still stayed on top,” he said.
From then on, Crsyto Panda confesses that he lost all the respect and love that he had for her because of her actions. He, however, chose to hide it from Winnie Nwagi, who, he says, would have blasted her straight away because of her outspoken nature.
“I felt so bad because of how much I loved her. I didn’t expect it to come from her because every artist has the liberty to release music anytime. But the way she said it came off like she had issues with me. If I had shared that with Nwagi, I’m sure she would have reacted very fast and called her out. I had to keep that to myself because she is a big brand,” he said.
Crysto Panda further revealed that he gave the musician the benefit of the doubt, reasoning that she would have been under the influence of alcohol when she talked ill about him.
“I loved and respected her so much. Every time I look at her, I feel bad because she doesn’t know that she hurt me. I saw her chilling with Nwagi one time and thought maybe she didn’t mean what she said,” Crysto Panda revealed.
