Luga Flow rapper Gravity Omutujju sparked media criticism and outrage following the release of his latest single. The particular song in question has a title and lyrics that have widely been perceived as degrading and vulgar. Fellow rapper, Da Agent is one of the many netizens who expressed concern and disappointment over Gravity’s explicit song.
In a video that he shared on his social media handles, Da Agent first sympathized with the rapper for having lost his mother recently amidst the struggles of his flopped concert.
This, however, he said should not be used as an excuse to resort to vulgar content since many other people have also gone through similar or worse situations but still did not lose their sanity.
We know the situation you are going through; many have gone through it but they have not lost their morals like you have done. Some things might be taken lightly but for the sake of the young generation, we speak about them. Song titles like these are not supposed to be on air because many people take you as their role model since you have been in the industry long enough, he said.
Da Agent also called out Gravity for always setting a bad example for the younger generation through his constant release of such music.
As a parent himself, Gravity’s music is a disappointment to many people who look up to him. He advised him to reflect on his actions and think about how much effect his music had on its consumers.
You are a parent and shouldn’t go that far. You will make us hate the genre. You should fix yourself up when you still have other people looking up to you. How can you inspire your supporters with such music? Where does this leave the industry? he questioned.
Da Agent further condemned the regulatory bodies that are supposed to control the music industry for sitting back and not taking action against artists like Gravity.

The regulations that would have worked on the music are dormant, a sign that the industry is going nowhere. We should just have some decency within us. If something affects other people, stay away from it. Don’t ruin the entire generation because you are going through a certain situation. You are becoming a nuisance, Da Agent revealed.
