Ugandan solo dance artist and brand influencer Dance Mamweta secured a nomination in the Ciara Dance Icon Competition hosted by famous American singer, songwriter, and dancer, Ciara Princess Harris.
Born Careen Mamweta, Dance Mamweta took to her social media platforms, sharing the good news of her nomination.
The Dance Icon is on the search for 8 talented dancers who will be flown to Phoenix, USA to perform and be judged live by Ciara and her choreographer, Jamaican Craft.
The winner will get a chance to dance in Ciara’s upcoming music video and win a cash prize of 20,000 USD approx. Ugx 73m.
Dance Mamweta pleaded for support from her fans, to bring the prize home, as she needs votes to get into the next round.
