Ex-Kream Production band singer Daudi Mugema has accused Kadongo Kamu artist Walukagga Mathias of witchcraft.
In an interview with Spark TV, Daudi Mugema revealed that Mathias Walukagga’s witchcraft was the cause of all his misfortune and recurring medical conditions that have been disturbing him for some time now.
The genesis of their disagreements came from Masaka when he allegedly refused to perform at his gathering in Masaka-Nyendo. He allegedly threatened that he would end his career, and within no time, he critically fell ill for two years and believed it was witchcraft.
“He said this to me face to face and I fell very ill shortly after that. The reason I’m sure it was him is that everyone called me, collected for me money apart from him. He has never sent me any message or called me yet I came from his shows and fell sick. I do not just think, but I’m sure he did it. He didn’t do it to only me; many artists like Ssegawa left this country and abandoned the music too,” he said.
Mugema’s claims come as a shock to netizens, especially after he came out earlier last year announcing that he was suffering from stage one cancer.

While speaking to journalists, he revealed that his problems started when he was arrested and detained at Kireka police for his ‘Wumula’ political song.

During his detention, Mugema claimed that he was allegedly forced to soak his feet in a basin full of unidentified substances, which he believed caused the cancer.
