DJ Nimrod has clapped back at Gift Ov Kaddo for verbally attacking him during his performance at the recently concluded ‘Memories Of Goodlyfe’ concert.
While on stage, Gift Ov Kaddo was ordered by the Galaxy FM deejay who was the stage manager, to go off stage after putting up an electric performance of his famous song ‘Lawyer’, something he disagreed with since he wanted to perform other songs.
He labeled DJ Nimrod a hater and at one point, he tried to jump into a fight with the DJ but was held back by a bouncer who tried to put him off stage amidst a struggle.
In an interview, DJ Nimrod revealed that he is willing to pay for Gift Ov Kaddo’s rehab fees because his reaction confirmed that he was under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.
“He is under the influence of some things we do not know. I have given him an offer to pay for his rehab. Or I will speak to the Federation president so that we see him committed into rehab to help him get better,” he said.
DJ Nimrod, as the stage manager, was given a strict rule of giving each artist a chance to perform only two songs but was surprised when Gift Ov Kaddo didn’t want to respect the schedule.
“He did not tell me to put him up on stage. As a stage manager, I was responsible for who steps on and I’m the one who gave him that chance. I was surprised that he attacked me. Personally, I’m willing to cover his rehab costs because he was a talented young man. The two songs he released (co-driver and Traffic Man Officer) were big tunes and we need to save him,” he said.
Nimrod also noted how Gift Ov Kaddo stepped on stage amidst Weasel’s performance, only to be thrown off stage.

“I do not care about him insulting me, those are small issues since he does not feed me. He just needs help. A person like that shows that he has a problem. Maybe his head was disturbed by the fact that he lost his music partner too, but he has a problem and he needs treatment,
“He did not put himself there. I was deciding who to put up but this is the person I have given an opportunity to perform on a big stage, a stage that he has spent years without stepping on. I really do not remember when he last had such a chance but he chose to insult the person that made it possible,” he said.
