On Thursday 13th March 2025, the long-awaited DNA results on Mary Nambwayo’s son Ssuuna Ben Kiyimba were released, confirming that the toddler was fathered by DJ Ssuuna Ben.
DNA results come following a test that was carried out last week at the Government Analytical Laboratory in Wandegeya. According to the report from the facility, it is more likely that Ssuuna Ben is the baby’s biological father, and more likely than any unrelated untested men in the population.
Nambwayo, while showing the results to the media, said that they both visited the hospital when the results were read out to them.
She expressed her excitement and relief at the same time. This was mainly because of the pressure from the public claiming Ssuuna Ben was not her son’s father.

“When you doubt a woman like that, it means she is sleeping around with many men. Now that the results are out, I’m happy that everything is clear. What should I tell my son when he grows up? So many people talked and I heard rumors that he (Ssuuna Ben) was the one championing them. The results have been released now,” Nambwayo noted.
