Dreventy Kick Starts The Year With New Single Dubbed “With Me”

Thematically singing of a longing for his love interest, burgeoning singer, songwriter, and performing artist Dreventy born Derrick Talemwa has unveiled his brand new single dubbed “With Me’.

The track not only serves as a gratitude release to his fans, following a long hiatus but also a start of his return to active music as the ingenious track is his first, since “Ma Way” which arrived in February last year.

Aside it being a groovy track, “With Me” is one that can easily pass for a summer anthem, given its danceable vibe as its beats and lyrics sound dancefloor-ready. It also sees Dreventy showcase his penchant and insouciant melodies that this writer does trust will easily creep into the ears of many Uganda music lovers as well as Africa and worldwide, and perhaps make it to the charts some time from now.

The multi-genre talent first shared the news of its release last week, sending fans and music enthusiasts into an overdrive of excitement.

Dreventy is no stranger to deploying his vocal techniques, as he’s been at it, right from his debut 5 track EP “Blue Detail” which received so much love, also owing to his soulful sounds and diversity. The over three minutes and thirty-one seconds single adds continue his “no bad song” streak.
