Big Talent boss, Eddy Kenzo has finally addressed the rumor that has for long trended on the media suggesting that he is gay, denying the allegations.
In an interview with Galaxy TV, Eddy Kenzo revealed that the longstanding rumor was started by the Goodlyfe Crew, specifically the late Radio Mowzey who posted about it on his Facebook account, propelling netizens to ride with the wave.
In 2014, Eddy flew out to South Africa to shoot the visuals of his hit single ‘Stress-Free’ and Radio alleged that he had gone to the foreign country to partake in homosexual acts.
The rumor was backed up by his music partner Weasel Manizzo, and then their then-manager, Jeff Kiiwa. Since they had a huge following, it was easy for fans to believe the allegations.
Eddy Kenzo believes all this was done out of the stiff competition and beef they harbored during that time.
When you go through all the Facebook records, you will find that it was started by Radio Mowzey. He is the one that posted about it first on his social media accounts and even made a video. But all this was done because of competition. Among all the Ugandans, Radio was the first, Weasel and Jeff followed. They started this propaganda and the enemies jumped on it, he said.
