Eddy Kenzo, the boss and musician behind Big Talent, has explained why his band, Big Talent, collapsed.
In a TV interview, Eddy Kenzo explained that one of the reasons the Big Talent band split was because of financial disagreements.
He revealed that tensions began to arise every time they were hired for a gig. Upon payment, some of the band members felt they were not getting a fair share of the earnings.
So, they opted to go solo because they believed they would be paid more than when they came in a group, where money was to be shared and the biggest percentage kept by the management.
“When my boys became popular, they got to the point that when they announced us, they never wanted to turn up. They said they would get more money solo than when they came with the band. It made sense at some point but they did not sit back to reflect on how I had made it here. You can never be more powerful than the company,” Eddy Kenzo said.

This is not the first time The Big Talent Band has been met with controversy. Years ago, Geosteady, a former band member, came forward and explained that the reason he quit was that top management lacked proper communication.

Geosteady revealed that most of the shows were communicated at the last minute, which interfered with their programs.
