Big Talent singer Eddy Kenzo has responded to Jose Chameleone’s complaints about the UNMF not being part of the group that picked him up from the airport upon his return from the USA.
Eddy Kenzo explained to Spark TV that he was not around when the Leone Island boss landed in the country. He had escorted his wife on official duties in the West Nile, where he had been for close to a week.
The UNMF president further revealed that on Friday, Pallaso, who is on the Federation’s committee, sat down with his fellow leaders and briefed them about the plan to welcome Chameleone back on Saturday. He also called Eddy Kenzo about the entire plan.
“I immediately called the secretariat to let them know, and they promised they would work on it. I travelled to Yumbe, but I wasn’t so much on my phone because of the poor network,” he said.
Kenzo noted that he only received videos of Jose Chameleone complaining about the Federation not fulfilling what they had discussed with Pallaso. When he contacted the cabinet to find out what had happened, he learned that they had earlier tried calling Pallaso, but he did not pick up the phone.

“The mistake they made is that they did not go ahead with the plans because they were waiting for the confirmation from Pallaso. I blame them for this and promise we will do better next time,” he explained.
Eddy Kenzo acknowledged Chameleone’s feelings, saying he was right to react that way since he did not see any member of the federation. He promised that they would sit down with Chameleone and sort out the misunderstanding.

“Pallaso was around, but he is his brother, and I don’t think he saw him in the other category. We shall have a meeting with him, and all shall be well. We love Chameleone, and personally, I love him so much. He knows it,” Eddy Kenzo said.
