Singer Eddy Kenzo has shared why he was compelled to exit the Bobi Wine-led record label Firebase Records.
While addressing the press, Eddy Kenzo revealed that during the early stages of his music career, he released numerous songs under the label.
Among the songs included “Yanimba,” a collaboration with Mikie Wine which was one of Bobi Wine’s favorite songs during that time.
Eddy Kenzo alleges that Bobi Wine drew inspiration from the “Yanimba” song, coming up with “Promise” a song he claims sounds like his.
Additionally, Kenzo released “Sonyiwa Muno,” and Bobi Wine was so quick to release his rendition dubbed “Wesotinge” both of which rhymed similarly.
