In Feb 2021, singer Carol Nantongo revealed how fellow singer Eddy Yawe had taken over the rights of their song Tukigale.
Carol stressed that there was a 50/50 contribution to the song, from studio costs, video shoot, costumes, and she solely promoted the song.

However, despite Carol’s efforts on the song, Bobi wine elder brother Eddy Yawe called for a meeting at UPRS, disclosing that Carol had no rights to the song.
As if that was not enough, Yawe haired another girl who sang Carol’s part whenever he performed Tukigale at any event.
The Nsika singer added that she was blamed by critics for doing a song with aging Eddy Yawe, but she turned a deaf ear only to be dispirited by Eddy Yawe’s greed.
However, over the weekend as Happy Boys Busega staged a concert dubbed Tuli Ku Ntiko, Carol Nantongo and Eddy Yawe were among the performers.
The two used the platform to make peace and performed their Tukigale hit song which earlier yielded bad blood between them.
