Even after putting up a spirited performance at Canada’s Got Talent semi-finals, Uganda’s brother-sister singing duo Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira couldn’t make it to the finals.
The pair set CGT ablaze with their ‘You Are The Reason’ performance which was a tribute to their mother julie Birungi.
However, the singing siblings couldn’t make it to the next step due to the stiff competition in the reality talent show.

Their mother Julie Birungi revealed the sad news through her socials, where she thanked folks for the prayers, love, and support portrayed by Ugandans.
Julie noted that even though her kids didn’t make it to the finals, it was a great opportunity for them to learn and explore more, hinting that a lot is yet to come.
Thank you for the love and support. Even if we haven’t made it to the finals it was a great opportunity and we couldn’t do it without your support and prayers. Thank you again. The best is yet to come. Amen.
